LA VISTA @ JANOORA PROJECT

A COUNTRY BARN TRANSFORMATION

This recently renovated barn pays homage to local history! Repurposed timber decking from local pier reconstruction projects across the Mornington Peninsula was used throughout the renovation, including custom shelving. By preserving these 150-year-old heritage elements, the barn has retained a deep connection to the region’s rich past.

Featuring a timeless & sustainable joinery technique paired with local recycled timber. The ancient Mortise and Tenon approach has been used by Woodworkers around the world for thousands of years. Strong, eco-friendly & built to last, this process merges traditional craftsmanship with sustainable practices … Built with the past to create a better future!

La Vista @ Janoora is proud to be 90% off grid by utilising solar energy & fresh water tanks.

“Here’s a Nat tip! To remind yourself that you are making great renovation progress keep an album of progress shots! I’ve just compiled the last four months into one minute and watching it puts a huge smile on my face. Feeling so grateful for The Carbonist team who work so unbelievably hard for us.” Nat, Glen Iris
